“I’ve always wanted to try something new, and this trendy haircut seemed like the perfect way to stand out,” says Brayden Wright about the low taper fade.
Recently the low taper fade has taken the internet by storm because of its massive popularity. The low taper fade is a trendy yet high-maintenance haircut, popularized by social media and celebrities, offering a stylish way to stand out.
“I believe that yes everyone is able to manage and style with the low taper fade but maybe just not the exact same style for every person,” Brayden said. “Like some people obviously would have it better than other people, but it just kind of depends on the way you’d style it every morning and if it would look good on you or not.”
The popular streamer “Ninja,” also known as Richard Blevins, has spread the low taper fade popularity with his influence making the haircut massive.
“He inspired me to get it because he’s always dragging and promoting it which just really inspired me and an entire generation of people,” Brayden said.
Some people think it looks good, some people don’t. One of those people that like it is Dylan Smith, who has a new and fresh low taper fade (see photo above).
Dylan found out about the low taper fade through Tik Tok and thought it looked good. Dylan chose to gatekeep his barber due to how good his haircut is.
On Jan. 13 inspired by his community Ninja got his own low taper fade, making the haircut explode in popularity. Many people are considering getting it or have gotten it already.
“Someone that has inspired me to get this hairstyle would be an old streamer I used to watch by the alias on Twitch, Ninja,” Brayden said.
Some people say that the low taper will never fall off and never stop being popular. However, because of so many people dragging it, a large sum of people don’t see it as massive as it used to be.
“I probably don’t plan to get it again because it’s a very hard hairstyle to manage,” Brayden said.
Though high-maintenance, the low taper fade remains a bold, stylish choice for those looking to stand out and embrace a modern, trendy look.
